A think a tracklist would have me scurrying off to find a lot of these tunes in better quality… they have such great taste.

I remember them doing it live and playing all these amazing dance tunes on the show, while the other stand-ins for simpering Simes were incredibly dull, and if memory serves me correctly, pre-recorded.

Re: PSB DJ Culture Radio 1 - August 92
Had the best time exercising this morning in Tiergarten here in Berlin listening to Monday's 26 August 1992 shows. Thanks again G_Goalden! Some thoughts:
1. Love listening to the music they curated for this...some of those songs are so rare and so hard to find these days..even digitally. Really took me back to the Manchester rave days.
2. Chris is much more talkative then, than he is now.
3. LOVE the 1992 BBC "news" updates...things are just the same then as they are now here in 2020. Racism, wars, famine, disease. Same ole same ole. We just can't progress.
4. FAXES!!!! I always hated to "fax". "Faxes" always represented "work" to me. I actually had to send a "fax" to the USA last week. WTF???
5. I have always loved their "radio" promotion shows during "Electric", "Super" and "Hotspot" on BBC and Radio Eins, it's nice to hear their curated selections from 1992 to 2013-2020.
Looking forward to listening to the Tuesday 27 August 1992 shows tomorrow while jogging 15km!

Think I have found a track list, from Literally issue 9. Am I allowed to put a link from another website?

That might be correct. If it is in 1992 then I will update my dates. I tried to check some of the news articles against historic dates and on Thursday it breaks that a couple of GB athletes are sent home from the Olympics (spoiler alert). That would fit with July.leesmapman wrote: Tue 04 Aug 2020, 10:13 pm According to Literally 9, the dates are between July 27th and July 31st.

Yes in 1992 they were on from Monday 27th July.
In 1991 they hosted in August (I taped all the shows)

Re: PSB DJ Culture Radio 1 - August 92
Please, can you tell me what is the title and author of the track played in Tuesday (at 8:15 min), also previously played in Monday?
It is so nice and I´m looking for it during years. BTW, in the same day a bit later you can find the inspiration for "Inner Sanctum" at 19:15 min.
Thanks for sharing!

Yes - it’s by The Good, 2 Bad and Hugly and it’s called Espania. I used to DJ with it myself back in the day.astrocordoba wrote: Wed 05 Aug 2020, 5:19 pm Please, can you tell me what is the title and author of the track played in Tuesday (at 8:15 min), also previously played in Monday?

Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Those "Pet Shop Boys on the radio" jingles, are they made by PSB for this show? They are hilarious.
