It’s A Sin - Years & Years cover (Moderator Comment Post 276)
Lovely little cover of It’s A Sin by Years & Years ahead of the series premiere tonight.

I saw all five episodes just before Christmas. It’s an amazing piece of work. The PSB track is featured briefly in one episode when the main character chooses it on a jukebox in a gay bar.

The Brits shared this song in its Instagram story for their series: 5 highlights of the week.
A blues would be in B flat, pain defining wisdom,

...That dissapointment when you was expecting to hear a new interestingly produced song by a usually interstingly produced artist and all you get is an acoustic... or just one instrument and voice... version (that anyone with minimal musical knowledge can do at home). Oh Well...
This is not my signature.

It's a bit dull. One listen is enough.
The future is the present now. Music must be played.

I think his cover is just beautiful. Did any PSB stuff reenter the charts this week by any chance? Seems that It's a Sin and Discography were in the top 50 on iTunes and Amazon pretty much the whole week (of course who buys music these days but still).

That live version is beautiful. So much more moving than the single. It’s the voice… more honest, more human, more feeling.

Very dreary for me,I'm all for making cover versions your own as the boys do brilliantly but this version isn't for me .

Plus one.
I think he sings it with just one specific "sin" in mind, whereas PSB allow much more flexible interpretation. PSB version is about breaking free from moral oppression in general. This cover is just about what the drama series is.
