Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
I’ll be avoiding spoilers until I get to see them in Manchester! After waiting this long I can wait another 10 days.
Woof.

I assume these two images from Pete Gleadall's IG story are related to the upcoming (finally!!) tour

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
Hi, it's been a while since I've been in these parts! So I bought a ticket for the original 2020 O2 gig and everywhere says that its still valid but everywhere also says that admittance is only given if it's displayed on your phone. Short of taking a picture of my paper ticket, which I'm sure isn't what they mean, WTF am I meant to do. I've got as far as downloading the AXS app but after that...?

As long as you didn't get a refund then the ticket is still good. Just go to the box office on the night of the show and they will either let you to use the paper ticket or convert it to a mobile ticket.BugBoy wrote: Thu 14 Apr 2022, 11:18 pm Hi, it's been a while since I've been in these parts! Don't think that's correct. It seems the app is the only way of getting in - the tickets are only available in the app and the barcode changes dynamically every 59 seconds to avoid fraud (or something). Supposedly in response to customer feedback, but I bet no one asked for something this convoluted - downloading an app just to go to a gig, when they could just email a PDF! Sledgehammer to crack a walnut, anyone? The original AXS ticket receipt email said you need to:boyjohn wrote: Fri 15 Apr 2022, 12:23 amAs long as you didn't get a refund then the ticket is still good. 1. Get the AXS mobile app if you haven’t already through the link below.
2. Open the app and sign in to your AXS account to see your tickets.
3. Show the tickets in the app at the venue entrance and get them scanned to enter.
More info on this page: https://faqs.axs.co.uk/.
Are you sure you have a paper ticket?
Hope that helps.

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
I may have misunderstood. I thought he already had the paper ticket. If it is indeed all digital, then he should be able to pull it up in the app using his account, or call axs and have them help him get it loaded. I guess I don't understand the problem.TwizzleUK wrote: Fri 15 Apr 2022, 10:30 amDon't think that's correct. 1. Yes I do have the original paper ticket.
2. I have the app on my phone but I have no tickets listed on the app when I sign in.
Soooo, presumably I need to somehow transfer my paper ticket onto the app, there's nothing helpful I can find on the websites FAQs.

I'm curious. Where did you get a paper ticket from? I thought even back in 2019 when they went onsale for the O2, you could only get them electronically?BugBoy wrote: Fri 15 Apr 2022, 7:49 pm Thanks for the responses.

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
Ok yes that makes sense, some venues just switched to (only) digital after Covid hit. Just bring your paper ticket and you should be fine. They may need to convert it to digital at the venue but that should be no problem as long as you are the original purchaser and have your ID with you.
The reason you can't see the digital ticket in your account is because they know you already have a hard stock/paper ticket.

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022
I just said that out of habit because in the US they seem to ask for ID for everything. As long as you can pull up the email that shows you bought the ticket from AXS that should be ok too. TBH as long as you have the original ticket that AXS sent you there shouldn't be any problems, after all you paid for it right.BugBoy wrote: Fri 15 Apr 2022, 10:40 pmID.... you mean photo ID?
