It's nice you can stream it now and you don't have to dig out that rare 12". Having said that, the mixes have always been and remain a bit of a mess :-p

Hopefully this will lead to more vinyl only mixes being released.

I've always liked these mixes as alternatives to the official one.

This is what "remastered" means actually...here a comparison between the new digital release and the version on the Aurally CD. Once you match the volumes, they sond exactly the same to my ears...but you can see all the frequencies that were cropped on the new digital release, just to make it sound louder..and give the false sensation that it sound better, when it´s actually worst... :/

..plus, the Club Mix is missing an extra orchestra stab at the very end, compared with the viny counterpart...

 Those poor russians. All the worst is recorded on their account. I'm surprised Disco 2 hasn't been considered russian fake release so far.

Russian??? :P
I wonder how a Russian had access to the masters of vinyl only and unreleased PSB struff back in the day..more than an UK or US based person.
Altough nobody can deny that the Aurally series are unnofficial stuff, those were made by somebody with actual access to deep sources of official material...
Even today (as we can see on this example) there we can still find the best quality source for some of the (un)released stuff...

They were released in Russia, and as I used to work in the music business, I have a very strong objection to anything illegal, we’re the artists are robbed of their legitimate income, so don’t like bootlegs., like I suppose you wouldn’t want anyone to steal a portion of your income.

It's a bootleg of course, but I doubt it's Russian

What a load of bull... a bootleg of mixes from extremely rare promos and 12'' can hardly be regardes as "steal a portion of your income". If anything teh Aurally records are making a point towards PSB and the record company that they should've released something similar themselves. Aurally 2 has 12 really rare and great mixes.... how could any fan get a hold of all of them at the time without ruining him/herself?
