A surreal PSB thing happened to me today. I have had many of these experiences over the years. I was on a flight from Dusseldorf to Helsinki and my seat was in the last row of First/Business class and right before the plane doors were to close Neil and Chris arrived with the 3 band members and Pete and I’m assuming their tour manager. They all quickly stowed their luggage in the front seats, sat down, fastened their seat belts as the door closed. So I spent the whole flight looking at the back of both Neil’s and Chris‘s bald heads.

Anyway, PSB have arrived in Finland and I guess they are both working towards sustainability as they flew “commercial” and not on the private planes they normally do.

And no I didn’t talk to them.

At least we know what the back of Chris’s head looks like thanks to Behaviour

Capacity and design
Capacity

The Royal Arena has space for up to 17,000 seated and standing guests for cultural and music events. For sporting events, the capacity is up to 12,500 spectators. The arena is flexible and scalable, so it is possible to hold events where only a small part of the arena and thus the spectator capacity is used.

The arena has a size of up to 35,000 m2 with large foyer areas and plenty of space for the audience as well as for serving places. In addition, there are large service areas for performing artists, athletes and the arena's service functions.

Design

Royal Arena is designed based on a strong Scandinavian design tradition, where the emphasis is on quality, functionality and design. The design team 3XN is behind it.

The majority of the audience sits on three sides of the stage floor/track - but with the option of also having the audience on the fourth side at sporting events and special cultural events. At concerts, the arena floor will be able to be used by the audience.

I hope it’s David Barnard again - he has directed the last 3 concert films and is for me, the best director there currently is for concert films. Cubism, Pandemonium and Inner Sanctum are all beautifully shot films!

They should go with François Hanss for once. His concert films for Mylène Farmer are incredible! They are even played in movie theaters.

Haha..exactly what I was thinking. Be bloody typical if the screen doesn’t go up again on the night they chose to film!
