About 6 years ago, UEFA wanted to start up a European League. A total farce of an idea that was rightly voted against. Only the greedy clubs were showing a hand in favour. Anyway, UEFA always like to get their own way and usually do. Now we have the European league, it's just not called that. We all know it as the champions league. It won't be long before it's 5 teams from each Country, then 6 and so on. The UEFA cup will be made up of the poorer sides and will be of an equivalent importance to what the league cup is.
Greed will kill football. Well it will for supporters of sides who don't have a lot of money.People like Abramovich are NOT good for the game. One law i'd love to see in the game is a wage cap and a maximum transfer fee.
