Hopefully it’s a proper single and not a teaser like Axis or Inner sanctum.

It'll be a proper song. Radio 2 giving it the first play likely means it's going to be suitable for the Radio 2 playlist and probably added to their A-list in a couple of weeks. It'll most likely also be one of the songs they do with the orchestra for the Piano Room thing on 23rd Feb.

I think Axis and Inner Sanctum were just released via an announcement on their website/socials/"What is Super" etc etc

I'm in NZ and will be listening and waiting closely, but I don't expect anything here before UK release.
I wouldn't be surprised if it lands on streaming Friday as normal.

Then again, we were all told 'Burning The Heather' was the first official single taken from 'Hotspot' (which also got its first play on Radio 2, if I recall correctly), but 'SMASH' has retconned that. Could happen with this too, for all we know!

I don’t think that’s correct at all. Burning the heather was a late addition to Hotspot and they almost held it back as it was more on keeping with their recent songwriting likely to be on the following album

It is! One factor is the relatively high proportion of nice decent people who live there.
