Does anyone know if the music can be chopped up to remove the narration? I imagine with 5 layers the narration won't be on all 5.

Sandy, it would have been good if you posted a link to where you found out it would be streamed in surround sound.
I thought from your comment that all we needed was the correct speaker set up, but it turns out it's streamed on a separate broadcast designed only for surround sound. (As I read on the official information page, http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/radio3/posts ... ound-Sound)
Worst of all is the surround sound broadcast can't be repeated like the normal one.

We've lost the chance to ever hear it in surround. :(

Did anyone here even get to hear it? I'm still curious what the different layers of sound would have been.
