Does anyone know if the music can be chopped up to remove the narration? I imagine with 5 layers the narration won't be on all 5.

Sandy, it would have been good if you posted a link to where you found out it would be streamed in surround sound.Sandy Shaw wrote:The online stream from the Proms can be heard in surround with the correct speakers. The BBC are offering this mainly to convey the atmosphere and resonance of the Albert Hall.
I thought from your comment that all we needed was the correct speaker set up, but it turns out it's streamed on a separate broadcast designed only for surround sound. (As I read on the official information page, http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/radio3/posts ... ound-Sound)
Worst of all is the surround sound broadcast can't be repeated like the normal one.
We've lost the chance to ever hear it in surround.
Did anyone here even get to hear it? I'm still curious what the different layers of sound would have been.
