I am starting to like "Dancing Star", I still think it is too short, the B-Side "Sense Of Time" is superb, "If Jesus Had A Sister" is also very good.

I agree 100%. Rudolf has a very interesting life, too bad they could at least write another verse or two.

I like the video very much, i especially appreciate it's subject because i have a brother who is a ballet dancer.
Furthermore the way Neil sings is great.
The video is exactly what i would have done in a fan made, with pictures from the sixties and some Nureev footages.
The last part of the song is fantastic. Despite its supposed simplicity, it's a lovely single.

I like the way the video focuses on movement, accentuating the grace and energy of our dancing star. They made a little footage go a very long way.

Personally, I think people are just becoming far too jittery and fragile nowadays.shame its come here also.

Some of the people complaining about nickname have been on the forum for decades griping about his posts but today it seems they’re using the playbook of today’s generation by responding to his fairly benign silly comments with nasty over the top hate.

Maybe my fault is I insist on my arguments again and again but that's because PSB do also the same things again and again.

The problem is if I say their videos are sexists (like feminists also say that about videos where the females are the ones who are sexualized), some members of the forum use this argument to talk about homophobia. I suppose when you hate someone you want to think bad things about him.

I'm not going to say anything more about it but I wanted to make it clear.

I liked that tune from the barbi movie, dance the night away. I feel like music wise Dancing Star could have worked in that scene as good also

I like the video. It's quite artistic. Not a full on production but it's nice.

Wonderful tone and playfulness in Neil's delivery - this will add a good change of vibe to any future singles collection (something I think they definitely think about, given chart success is so hard these days)

What also grabs me - releasing a positive biography about a Soviet defector at this time; someone who braved it. It's nice (IMO), without needing to say anything too targeted.

I am obsessed with the closing part of Dancing star - the lovely bell line while Neil speaks the city names. I would love to hear an extended mix of this one day with more bells!
On another matter, this is the only forum I have ever been a part of and I am going to have to leave it. I never realised people could be so nasty to one another when the subject matter themselves, Neil and Chris, are allegedly loved by all on here. Kudos to the moderators for trying to filter the idiotic comments out, but I am so tired of the seemingly constant passive aggressiveness by some people. Never mind. I find it really upsetting. Maybe that's my autism kicking in, maybe it's just a sense of humanity.
Enjoy the new album everyone. Even at age 51, I am still so very excited about it and ecstatic that Parlophone have clearly pumped a bit of money into the marketing....

The vintage footage of Amalfi and London are lovely

I do wish there were less of the overlaid effects of Nureyev … would be nice to have a moment to just see him dance without the visual distractions and perhaps a close up of his face at the end

Good to see that black coat of Neil’s is getting some decent mileage as well
