Really grown to appreciate what top drawer musicians they were in the last couple of years. Very in demand session musicians before they found their own voice. Can't imagine no one knows Eminem's "My Name Is" which is almost entirely based on a sample they were session musicians on, Labi Siffre's simply wonderful "I Got The..."

Perhaps surprising for a Pet Shop Boys fan, but I was fortunate enough to see Chas & Dave perform live three times between 2011 and 2016. Absolutely fantastic performers and musicians.

Very much of the opinion that music taste should be eclectic. Liking one music style should not limit you to just or principally that music style. Nowt wrong in liking Chas and Dave, underneath the jaunty and quite deliberate cheeky Cockney personas is a lot of skill and talent.

Also a big fan. Ain't No Pleasing You is a beautiful song.
