People moaning are the exact same ones who were creaming over the snippets of these new versions last year when they appeared on instagram. Honestly, how much more was the two disc nonetheless? Couple of quid? Stop moaning.

For what it’s worth I like them. Being boring has a nice minimal 21st century update, it’s a sin is given a new slant, heart is well, heart not done as well and always on my mind is pointless. Still nice to have though.
Makes total sense. I think people would have been quite happy with that as a CD with Annually.

I'm definitely not a member of the above mentioned club of snippets-onans. The whole thing is not about money or bonus material as it is. In my opinion It just disrupts aesthetics aspects of the new album. I wouldn't mind taking this set of four reworks as Annualy bonus (it would be still pointless, but at least collectible), however it looks very bad as a part of nonetheless campaign. And yes, I pay attention to such things.
I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

The Boys have never released a deluxe CD version after half a year or so, so why would they do that with Nonetheless? They always released a limited 2CD or deluxe edition upon album release and then a Further Listening release years later. They have been pretty consistent with that, and them being back on Parlophone makes it likely that they will also release Further Listening editions for the albums Electric, Super, Hotspot, and eventually Nonetheless.

They have also been consistenly releasing B-sides and remixes, which they also did for the two Nonetheless singles. Not everybody likes their latest output, but we cannot complain that they are not productive!

Personally I prefer regular "limited" releases like the Furthermore disc than these overpriced Annually releases.

I see them as in a style that suits the album. They always reinvent the songs on stage...so I really don't see the problem. I'm actually enjoying them as well as West End girls (Lockdown).

I'm hoping James Forward has made some extended wigouts/dubs a la Yes.

Correct, that one came later. Almost 30 years ago though.
I’d rather see a Nonetheless + Further Listening in a year than a remixe bonus CD. Will obviously buy both though…

Nor do I. The fruits of lockdown.

Yes, I'd have preferred an instrumental disc... because I always get a lot out of those... but this extra still makes sense to me.

If there is going to a deluxe with an extra disc I would like to hear the PSB demos of all the songs. They said James Ford made them less complicated, and of course they added a real orchestra to all of them. I would imagine the demos sound far removed from the final product, so it would be essentially getting an entirely different recording of the album.

I always like to hear the demos to discover how the songs evolved. With their demos sometimes there is little change to the finished product, other times once they get to recording them for release the song gets entirely reimagined.
