A film!
A new TV Series....!

I'm guessing featuring their music rather than about them but who knows?!

Great to read and interesting to get a new voice adding perspective on the boys
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

Fascinating to read about the business side. I bet their weekly management meetings are a lot more fun than the ones I have every Monday!

Exciting about the new projects, too!

Thanks for sharing.

All three albums [released after the split, Electric, Super, Hotspot] were bigger than the previous six. We achieved our objectives.
Really?

If she means in terms of the position they enter the UK chart, she's correct.

Bilingual and Yes had the highest position of those six, each reaching #4... whereas each of the trilogy (ironically) went in at #3.

Retro. :)

That was a good read, thanks for sharing. I thought it was interesting what she said about how Neil and Chris are very good listeners and she can't remember them ever talking over anyone.

I would say that she’s the best manager they’ve had since Tom Watkins.

Their associated tours were more successful too, with more dates, more countries, and bigger stages. I think people here sometimes get blinded by their personal opinions about the trilogy and completely forget that, globally, those albums helped to shape the image that PSB has today.

Anyway, it's good to know that a shift in the demographic is part of the Boys' agenda. This fandom needs fresh perspectives and opinions.

They're still an active band - it's not the Beatles we're talking about here, but they do have to consider their ongoing legacy with a wider demographic in mind, and how that is to be handled. They don't (to our knowledge anyway) have any children, so who will their respective estates go to upon their demise and what arrangements have been made to handle their catalogue?

They are savvy enough to have this all figured out already I suspect to ensure that they are remembered for many many more years to come when they are no longer a "going concern". Angela Becker will be a part of those discussions on how all that will be handled I'm sure.

PSB don'accessiblet ear so much money per concert than before, the salary is a bit lower than before. I'm sure it made them more accesible.
