Personally prefer Saturdays line up. Sunday looks bit limp really for Radio 2. Though would’ve gone anyway just for the boys but am away unfortunately.Dog wrote: Sat 07 Sep 2024, 8:57 pmYes it’s actually a strong line up.joepsb wrote:Surprising with Manics and Paul Heaton on the bill

It's a shame that the weather looks drab and wet, although personally I'm totally over Dreamworld now. Surely Neil and Chris must be bored with this too.. Time for something fresh and new !!
There is beauty in ugliness and ugliness in beauty.

This will be the 7th time I’ve either seen dreamworld live or on TV and as y3potential said he’s over it and to be honest I am as well. Guess a special guest will maybe perk it up a bit. How about soft cell? Something they rehearsed privately. Chris did say they hadn’t found anyone but he was possibly winding us up.

Aww, it's just like old times! Honestly, these old'uns have no stamina. Is it even a UK festival if you're not hip-deep in mud? (OK, OK, I haven't lived in the UK for over thirty years, I know a lot's improved since then!!!)
If I'm counting right, the Dreamworld production has had 95 outings in three years, including today, which is a lot but still peanuts compared to global monster tours like Eras or Elton's farewell. If those Far East/US dates pan out next year, it'll go there too, then hopefully it'll have paid for itself and they can mothball the set. Having the DVD come out in January would probably limit any further demand. I've been fortunate enough to see the show three times now but I'd still go if they came to LA.
For your own good, call me tonight.

Yeah Saturdays line up was pretty good. I could pick a combo on the two nights for one cracking day, and leave some off the list.dbaseboy wrote: Sun 08 Sep 2024, 2:36 pmPersonally prefer Saturdays line up. Sound mix is terrible on the BBC2 broadcast.
