I see Periodic Table of Synthpop is (cheekily) offering up Nonetheless Instrumentals for download - official versions reserved for record company use, rather than AI recreations.
Well a little sad PSB didn't get to release these on their own terms, but I guess they are battling AI/tech/YouTube doing the job for them anyway. They'll always have audiences for official release.
Agreed it's a bit cheeky to charge. I did notice on that website there are instrumental packs for various artist instrumentals that an are free to download - so I'm grabbing those! Nice selection
But they seem to want to charge for anything PSB related - which might tell you something!
I follow them on Facebook but am not a paid subscriber. I only buy from official channels these days I'm afraid. Maybe it's my loss, but you have to draw the line somewhere.
charging for unreleased material they somehow found or created via AI seems at least questionable.
If this were true it would be such a gift from the Boys to save those instrumentals for the next Annually or to give a code inside the new release to download. The record label should smash those periodics with legal stuff so they close their infamous charade.
I don't trust them. Also, wait for a couple days and you'll get this everywhere for free.
Charging for material you're posting illegally? Criminals. It's the principle.

They are real, and they leaked along with a couple of thousands of other instrumentals from a lot of Warner artists. Another thing that leaked is the "West End girls" instrumental which seems to be reconstructed from stems. Doesn't sound exactly like the album version, but close enough. I also think "Feel" is slightly different to the album version too.
Well I succumbed and signed up for these even though I find the ethics of the site very dubious.
As always, it’s amazing how many layers you can hear in the instrumentals. Even enjoying The Secret of Happiness in its instrumental form which is my least favourite from the album.
The trick of this site is that they ask for money to "subscribe"... then they offer downlodas for free and some as gifts "only for subscribers", so not "directly selling" the stuff. We all know that no one would subscribe if it weren't for those freebies, but hey, that's their nasty trick...
The real thing is that all the stuff they offer is mp3 quality , mostly low quality sourced and even audio downloaded from youtube with not credit given to the YT channels from where they´re taken...
Also, we can be almost sure that all the description made for the files (all that about the planned release as a double CD, etc...) is just an invention to give greater substance to the material, more than real valid information...
