Great performance. What's the designer cap Lowe's wearing? Unusual. Coat great too.

They were very well received from everyone around us (it was a very mixed bunch of socio-demographics).

There have a been a number of posts recently that no one under 30 gives a toss about them. I’d say that was well and truly disproved tonight.

The cap is by Dsquared2 they sometimes have the word 'icon' on their products.

That is pretty fantastic. I keep wondering what I'd think if I were a teenager seeing them for the first time. I'd hope I'd be intrigued by these old weirdos.

Beautiful staging but I can't understand why would they play a cover when receiving an award for their own career, even if its their current single. A medley like the Brits 2009 was the obvious option, maybe too obvious I guess.

Aaron Taylor Johnson, Sam Taylor Johson's husband, so there's a link with PSB there.

So - you get given an incredible opportunity to appear in front of new generations of younger potential fans and you get 6 minutes broadcast on TV, online in Europe and all over the world as part of MTV.

And you decide to perform a cover version of a 52 year old song, and a song of your own that’s 40 years old.

What a stupid move. By all means add a chorus of West End girls at the end of the 6 mins - but the updated and absolutely banging Dreamworld tour versions of Heart or Domino Dancing or Left to my own devices or It’s A Sin or SOMETHING that felt a bit more current would have made a far bigger impact and might have won them a few new fans.

Sorry - but a totally wasted opportunity IMHO.
