3rd B-sides Compilation

#1 Post by Tom Angel »

Before I start a new topic when there already is one, is there a topic to discuss the next Alternative and Format?

I'm sure someone has already listed b-sides since Together and I'm pretty sure the time is now ripe for the 3rd album of b-sides and extra tracks.

Also hoping for the full 1989 tour on Blu-ray, which they mentioned they were planning several years back.

And maybe - as part of their Since 1984 series - a limited edition physical deluxe release.

Funny how we're all willing to throw our money at them for stuff we want, but they never give us what we want. I'd love to see the full 1989 tour on blu-ray...maybe with a companion CD or even vinyl to go with it.

There’s this one:

Pet Shop Boys - Reserve - the b-sides and bonus tracks 1985-2024

This is my revised list following the new single. I haven’t included any tracks from the Christmas, Agenda or Lost EPs, or the reworked versions of Left to my own devices or West End girls.

1. Fugitive (seven-inch mix)
2. Glad all over
3. I cried for us
4. A certain “Je ne sais quoi”
5. The way through the woods (long version)
6. I started a joke
7. Hell
8. In his imagination
9. Baby (demo)
10. Listening
11. One night
12. Inside
13. Entschuldigung!
14. Get it online
15. No more ballads
16. Odd man out
17. In bits
18. One-hit wonder

1. The white dress
2. Wiedersehen
3. A cloud in a box
4. The dead can dance
5. An open mind
6. No boundaries
7. Decide
8. At rock bottom
9. New boy
10. Party in the Blitz
11. Through you (extended mix)
12. Sense of time
13. If Jesus had a sister
14. It’s not a crime
15. I’ve got plans (involving you)
16. Everybody will dance
17. Beauty has laid siege to the city

Woof.

I was just listening to the audio of that concert. The songs sound amazing! It'll be a great release sonically at least.

Let's hope they do kick it off with Fugitive.

And what an album that disc 2 is . Wow.

And then we would still have Adrenaline, The Dark End of the Street and Miserere to add.

Not singles b-sides or extra tracks though to be fair. They would have to wait for their place on Nonetheless Further Listening!

I will include Schalger Hit parade ( deutsches demo ) . It is a demo but I suppose it is different from the demo of Nonetheless expanded version. Violence ( Hacienda Version) was included on Alternative

Yes I see, your list is eliminating 'bonus tracks' that weren't released with a single. It makes for a lovely rounded number of songs for the cd / vinyl as well.

Although Format was 'b-sides and bonus tracks' so it will be interesting to see what they do.
