Who is Chris Burscough?

In the NLB/ATYD booklet it says that the phot of Chris Lowe is credited to "Chris Burscough". Who is this guy?
I've found an obituary from 2018 of an 58 year old man with the same name and some other stuff indicating an architectural background.
The photo was taken ca 1980 so before PSB time, which means we are in another territory

Don’t they briefly mention a “Chris” in the bbc documentary when discussing the early days? Assume it was his flatmate/houseshare/boyfriend.

So he was born around the same time as Chris and has architectural background

I’d say he was on the same course or placement as Chris Lowe and he’s also from the same area

Isn't that Neil's friend from Newcastle, also named Chris.

I sometimes think there are too many Chrises....

He studied architecture with Chris Lowe and went on to become an architect. A family member has posted about the friendship between the two Chrises a couple of times on socials and they used at least one of his gig pics on Facebook too.
I think I used to work in the same place as his sister or at least a very close relative and kicking myself now that I never made the connection.

Edited to add: yes, shared a house at Liverpool University where I guess the pic was taken.

I did indeed share an office with CB's sister. Small world. It seems the whole family is still very well regarded by the Boys, which is lovely to see.

Aw, that’s nice. Didn’t Chris say something about visiting friends in Preston when he was interviewed about Party in the Park? Maybe these are the friends.
