Trust me, it is PSB-related:

Re: That's Not Pie
Fishing for clicks?
Anyway to spell out what this is:
Link it to an Instagram reel, a WEG parody.
The lyrics are about pies and pastries.
Not funny to me but oh well. I clicked it hoping it was something official.

Not at all, it's nothing to do with me, just thought it was mildly funny - sorry it doesn't meet with your approval. Back in your shell you go.

Ha - made you look!

It's leaning into the Weird Al thing (and why has Weird Al never done a PSB parody?)
It's ok. Mildly amusing but Inner City Pressure is head and shoulders better.

No no, guys, this is serious business! As an expat Brit, the search for a decent savory pie here in California is an ongoing problem!
(Luckily I'm good at making my own - Queen of the Shortcrust Option here.)

With a thread title like "That's Not Pie"? Now that IS pretty funny.DopeFiend wrote: Sat 01 Feb 2025, 1:44 pm Not funny to me but oh well. I clicked it hoping it was something official.
For your own good, call me tonight.

I can imagine the challenge in Cali for a decent "British" pie. Here in Ontario there are some decent places, mainly thanks to good traditional Mennonite cooking.petshopgrrl wrote: Sun 02 Feb 2025, 5:51 pm No no, guys, this is serious business! The biggest challenge for me is finding anything remotely close to decent Fish'n'Chips. There were half decent places but they are shutting down at an alarming rate, but even those don't hold a candle to my beloved chippy in England.
