I think they seemed more subversive than they were, particularly in the 80s during Thatcherism, but Neil has clearly always been a typical middle-class liberal. Chris is more difficult to pin down thankfully.

Please respect the topic, which is a worthwhile and meaningful topic (and I love the rename btw), since Pet Shop Boys have demonstrated significant support for Ukraine in recent times, and have even chosen to have the Ukraine flag as a splash page on their website.
