That was a pretty dirty look from Chris there to Neil! lol
To be honest I'd pay good money to see a full set of songs with Chris's vocals - there's probably enough material there for a decent 40 minute - 1 hour set (including the Stop Modernists cover).

Ah I love this forum. I log in rarely but every time I visit, I discover some new and interesting thing about my favorite band ever. It is like finding small gems with huge value on a huge beach. Now I have to check Stop Modernists cover.Gabby wrote: Mon 21 Jul 2025, 7:30 pm That was a pretty dirty look from Chris there to Neil! lol

Definitely fear in his eyes. "I'm not singing the last verse, Nelly. It's hard enough remembering what key this bloody song is in."

Re: On vocals Mr Chris Lowe
Greetings,
I'm sure it was auto-tuned up the wazoo, but on "This Used To Be The Future" I genuinely prefer Chris' parts over both Neil's and Phil's parts.
"I can recall utopian thinking, bold vision statements and tightening of belts"... so, so good, and if YouTube's "in-video" view curve is to be believed, it's the more listened to part. Rightly so.
Retro.

I love that cover of "Subculture". I don't know why, but any Chris Lowe vocal on a song is really something special.PSBForTheMasses wrote: Mon 21 Jul 2025, 10:58 pmAh I love this forum. Remembering what happened to Chris:

It's interesting to see this happens at the end of their show.

Could have been worse. He could have said "On vocals Vince Clarke. I'm Andy Bell and we ARE Erasure."

He did it again!
It appears to be deliberate this time, quickly correcting himself with a big cheesy grim. I think that's probably the first time I've seen Neil crack a joke?
I like his body language immediately afterwards too.
Expressive Neil!

Neil, your memory's getting as bad as Chris's.
