The video of Always on my Mind wasn't on Youtube on the official account of PSB on Youtube from the beginning, it was added almost a decade later.PSBForTheMasses wrote: Thu 09 Oct 2025, 11:38 am
My only quibble with Always on my mind is its unusual video that appears to be some kind of weird LSD-induced thing to causal listeners or non-fans . That may explain why it is their second most listened-to song in Spotify but ranks number 6 on Youtube after West End girls, It's a sin, Domino dancing, Go West and What have I done to deserve this? (unless there is some regional restriction etc.). That long intro full of chat (though the lines are funny), a bald, eccentric-looking old man hopping and bounding at the back seat with two males in a car, a zebra in a train station of all things and some evil-looking puppets, with no coherent narrative whatsoever, should leave people confused. They probably scratch their heads and ask what the hell this is.
A missed Number 1?

Hah! If you find the Always on my mind video confusing… don’t try watching the whole movie it’s cut from.

Every single PSB song up until Fundamental singles were added nearly a decade later, that is, 16 years ago, meaning that all were added more or less at the same time.Nickname wrote: Fri 10 Oct 2025, 5:15 pmThe video of Always on my Mind wasn't on Youtube on the official account of PSB on Youtube from the beginning, it was added almost a decade later.PSBForTheMasses wrote: Thu 09 Oct 2025, 11:38 am

I think Always on my Mind wasn't in the official account at first like the others hits.PSBForTheMasses wrote: Fri 10 Oct 2025, 5:28 pmEvery single PSB song up until Fundamental singles were added nearly a decade later, that is, 16 years ago, meaning that all were added more or less at the same time.Nickname wrote: Fri 10 Oct 2025, 5:15 pmThe video of Always on my Mind wasn't on Youtube on the official account of PSB on Youtube from the beginning, it was added almost a decade later.PSBForTheMasses wrote: Thu 09 Oct 2025, 11:38 am

Ha ha, this is one of the things that I should do before I die; it is a showcase of gratitude to the Boys for me, rather a dutySpittingcat wrote: Fri 10 Oct 2025, 5:26 pm Hah! If you find the Always on my mind video confusing… don’t try watching the whole movie it’s cut from.

Re: A missed Number 1?
Closer to Heaven should have been the lead single of Nighlife.
The most commercial sounding song on the album. I guess they knew that but held it back for the musical later on. I was surprised that it wasn't released as the 3rd/4th single when the musical was about to begin. It would have been a Top 5 if it was released as the lead single.

Please, Actually, Introspective, Behaviour, Very, Bilingual, Nightlife, Release, Fundamental, Yes, Elysium, Electric, Super.
