It's above Being Boring to my ears. Created in a similiar mood by the same minds (after living a bit longer) out comes a real diamond. It's too fine to be in a context called obscure.

Maybe when Julie Andrews dies?

Really pleased to have snagged a ticket for Wednesday. Good luck on Friday to forum folks who didn't get lucky today.

Same here. But worth remembering it is also non-single album tracks too. So my guess would be it'll be about 50% of each. I'd personally be happy with 100% B-sides!

Yeah me too. And the more I tried the more I felt I was being considered a bot.

I think on Friday I should stick to chrome (the browser developers use to test) and turn off my vpn from the start, and not use private browsing.

I initially started off at 10am using Safari on my iPhone but I kept getting an automatic refreshing page screen which was going round in circles. Then it seemed to think I was some kind of bot. :grumble: :wall:

So decided to switch to using the Firefox browser and that was much better I actually had a progress bar for a queue moving albeit slowly after choosing which day and entering the code.

To my surprise I managed to purchase two tickets by 10:12am. It might've helped that I picked Tuesday thinkng that less people would opt for that date. To say I'm looking forward to this show is a slight understatement.

I don't think I have ever seen the PSB community here or on FB, Reddit etc. more alive and excited than I have today.

I hope those who didn't find success today get their turn to feel that joy on Friday.

Ok, any recommendation on how to get tickets on Friday?
You’re only best and safest bet is the general sale on Friday I would imagine! Good luck!!

Got 2 tickets for Friday but I nearly missed completely as I just forgot to go online. I wasn't working but got busy, then got in the car to go to the supermarket.

At 10.05 I suddenly remembered.

Pulled up and logged on. Thought I would be too late and be in a queue for ages but after only about 5 minutes was in via AXS.

Extortionate pricing though.
I may be wrong

Good Morning, I was here years ago and joined new. I have a question regarding the tickets. Didn't read all of the many post here.
I managed to get a ticket for Friday paying with PayPal and ticket is from See tickets. And one with credit card for Thursday and ticket is from AXS. I got order confirmation emails stating an email with the e-ticket attached will come on a later day.
I am worrying a bit. But getting that confirmation emails it must be good.
So does anyone didn't get the e-ticket email when having successfully ordered a ticket?

Now the dust has settled on yesterday and the anxiety has reduced, my thoughts move to how they will present themselves for these gigs...

I'm torn between wanting them to have walk on guests like Johnny Marr and Bernard Sumner for an Electronic track, hey, maybe even Patsy Kensit for a rendition of I'm Not Scared.. But I suppose if push came to shove I'd really prefer just Neil and Chris and those old machines (think Whistle Test..). No one else. No Pop Kids. No Sylvia and certainly no Courtney Pine !!

I would have loved to see this show. I was willing to pay for the expensive ticket and for the accomodation and travel from France.
So I placed an order for the Volume book (an extra cost consequently) as it should have guaranteed me to be able to get a ticket. But being at work, I wasn't able to try my luck until 11:30 yesterday. And of course, it was already sold out by then.

So they sold more copies of Volume than the numbers of tickets they had for pre-sale.
It looks like a scam to me. Trying to sell something against a service you cannot guarantee afterwards.

I will have to cancel my Volume order as a result. I have much cheaper means to get that book than ordering it from the PSB store.

Why can't they perform as many shows as necessary to meet demands ? I don't get it.

Was at the Ballroom when they did the Back to our roots gig ... suspect it will be very similar. Neil did a few costume changes but there was no back screen projections or much going on stage wise and this one may possibly be even more pared back.
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

So having lauded the ticketing process which seemed to have resulted in many fans, and fewer touts getting tickets, I have seen a few people saying they didn't get codes from purchasing Volume.

I myself purchased Volume (but I would have irrespective) but don't believe I received a code as a direct result of that purchase. Unfortunately I also checked the "No Purchase Req" link as well, so have no way to prove it other than I only received one code, where you might expect to see two. I just figured their algorithms caught my dual request, so didn't consider it a big deal.

Now though I have my doubts, and wonder if there hasn't been a spectacular balls up with the Volume purchasers waiting patiently for these codes and never receiving them. How do you backtrack on that though?! Not cool!
