Nah, it's been an open secret what he's like for years. The only thing keeping it out of the public domain has been expensive lawyers. Like a lot of 'national treasures', the truth rarely comes out until they die, if at all.

Hatred is part of the human being and everyone can try to take away other people's rights if they have the chance. It's a matter of power (some men hate women, some women hate men, some straight people hate gay people, some gay people hate straight people, some people hate trans people and viceversa, etc). Anyone can discriminate other people in some way or another if they have an option.

Now in Spain, women have by far more rights than men. Spain is the country of the UE with more radical femist laws. Some of them go so far than no country in Europe has adopted them.

In schools you can appreciate how feminism is putting the blame on boys treating them like they were evil privileged sexist men.

That's why Spaniards are getting more affinity for right extreme political partys than ever. Being probably one of the most leftist countries in the world, probably the most letist country in Europe and being the country with bigger economic increase of the world in the last years.

Considering they've blocked me on Instagram for expressing disappointment in the perpetual re-casting of Frances Barber, they appear to take great pride in their problematic friendships. I guess they think everyone is cancelled in some way, so why care. Being friends with someone in their private life is perfectly fine - choosing who you highlight professionally and who you put your name behind is another thing completely.

They blocked me as well the other month when I asked if they were going to express a view on the situation in Gaza, given their strong stand on Ukraine. Literally just asked that and was blocked.

I think Neil is probably something of an Israel sympathizer, in the past he's justified playing there by saying Israel isn't an apartheid state etc.

Once, when I was late for work, I took a taxi — just the first one available. The driver appeared to be an elderly man dressed as a woman, with black hair that may have been a wig and some worn second-hand clothes.
