So cool. By the way, I have the CD that is signed by David Bowie, Neil and Chris. I got David to sign it in NYC after one of his promo shows for his album "Hours". My only time I met him.

Big fan of records, but not of RSD

Then again, many Bowie RSD items are not very limited and still available (with some exceptions of course)

But would love to have a copy as a Bowie and PSB fan

Nice one, to have something signed by DB!

I was checking my Discogs and for reasons I cannot recall I have two copies of the CD promo of Hallo Spaceboy. This wasn't commercially released as a 12" at the time (just promos), so this would be a really nice addition to my collection.

The Dave Ball remixes are on DB's special edition of 1.Outside, along with an instrumental of the PSB remix.

I'm a fan of the original album version too.

Yeah, they never seem to be in short supply really. I have the 7" pink vinyl, so this'll be a nice companion to it.

I’ve like that this is being released. Hate that it’s an RSD release. Can’t be bothered queuing up for several hours only to find they had two copies in stock at £29:99 each and both said copies are now on eBay for £200. I’ve got the original pink 7”. I’ve got a promo with the 12” on it. That’ll do me.
is is and isnt isnt

So we don't yet know whether the Tim Simenon mix is a version of the PSB remix or of the original DB album version. My guess is the latter. A brief history of Tim and Bomb the Bass here:

The "instrumental" on the promo 12" and DB´s Outside special edition is also "re-remixed" by Dave Ball... any 'pure' instrumental of the PSB remix is still unreleased...

From the way it's mentioned in the advertising for this release, it doesn't seem to be a remix of the PSB version, as you suggested.

Greetings,

RSD is awful. Unless Pet Shop Boys put out something entirely essential, I'm having no part of it. This does not meet that threshold.

Retro. :)

Whinge whinge whinge. I don't see what's awful about selling vinyl and promoting record stores but you do you.
