I can't help but feel that there'll be some further announcements soon - after the release of Dreamworld BluRay - what with the Please release anniversary in March and the upcoming Obscure shows, I'd be astonished if there isn't a new release, a single and/or album release (the much discussed here 3rd B-sides compilation with a supporting single seems the most obvious).
The timing of all this is just way too coincidental - to be honest I'd be more surprised if they DIDN'T do anything.
To me all these moves smell like "Career last moves" since the release of Nonetheless.
And I've got mixed emotions about it.
Nonetheless was so great that it would fit as "last album" perfectly. Love is the law would be perfect as last album song on their catalogue.
All these re-releases, Dreamworld lasting forever, Obscure, Volume. Everything screams "closure".
I'm with Gabby, they're due for new announcements but not until after the April busy period. (I'll elaborate) No point in clouding the waters whilst promoting current happenings is priority. After Annually drops, the Obscure shows are out of the way, the Viña del Mar show is done (TV broadcast, large festival show), the 100 lyrics reissue, the Catalogue book updated version, basically right after April there will be a perfect clean slate to announce the next big thing. Even if it is just a musical soundtrack or some sort of deluxe edition reissues project. I mean, they might announce a whole new tour or a whole new album, or some kind of collaborative side project. Or, it could be nothing. I personally can't imagine they'll want to slow down or take an extended break.
There's a lot of momentum to the PSB brand. Neil at heart is a business person, I'm sure he'll want to drive the band forward following current happenings.
The recent interview quote about continuing for so long out of sheer passion for music and song writing to me shows they most likely have something in the pipeline but it just isn't necessary to announce right now. They have 3 books, a unique residency show, theatre screenings of Musik, a recently released remix compilation, a live DVD coming, and other things. They don't even need to reveal what's next, but in May they might need to. And a reminder, there will be news in the new Annually. It's only mentioned casually at the end of the pre-order promotional description but I'm looking forward to it.

The 3rd bsides compilation is something they will release for sure (the Obscure shows would be a good excuse for it). But they said they were producing A man from the future with the Manchester Camerata, and the “plan” was more or less an album in 3 years from the previous one. So I don’t think they will close the shop in the next couple of years.
Oh yeah true, I forgot about A Man from the Future being produced.
