In the programme it credits Andy Morahan as Film Director, saying “…he is currently slated to direct the film of ‘MUSIK’, the ‘one-woman-show’ starring Frances Barber…”

Morahan is the guy who co-directed all those early Pet Shop Boys videos with Eric Watson.

Was the original run in Leicester Square 90 minutes? I could have sworn it was a lot shorter than that, more like 45 minutes but I could be mis-remembering.

Now the “Ich bin musik” remix makes sense. It’s going to be the single for the show, in my opinion.

VERY weird to schedule the only two screening dates, 9th and 12th of April, for the week of Obscure. Will definitely limit whatever audiences there would have been for it.

Any word of a bluray release later this year?

I went to see this at Norwich Odeon last night. Only 5 tickets sold. Funny in parts but dreadfully tacky and crass in others. Wouldn't want to see it again, unfortunately.
The future is the present now. Music must be played.

Only 5 tickets sold? Phewww, that's not what I call a big succes!

They brought Dreamworld to the cinemas, it did not work. Now they tried with Musik and here we have the same story, less or no general interest at all.

Both are things you have to see live, not in cinemas.

I'm slightly wiped from 5 nights in Canden and I almost read that as "blurry" appropriately!

I look forward to hearing the PSB demos on Hotspot/Further listening 2018-21 but I have no interest in Muzak or Frank Barbershop.
