Last week, I bought the paperback and the Kindle edition of the new issue, with the Jon Savage's foreword. Paperback arrived fine on Saturday, but the Kindle version was the original issue (no foreword) so got a refund. Both from Amazon. Not sure how to get a full paperback equivalent on Kindle. Any suggestions?
I’m looking at the listing on Amazon US and it does state that the Kindle version is the 2018 edition. You could try clicking the “Report an Issue with this product or seller” button and use it to nudge them to update to the paperback version, perhaps? They may not be aware of the difference.
Thanks! Reading this thread some more, I see somebody says that his original Kindle version (with the typographical cover) automatically got the new photo cover when the paperback was issued, so that perhaps explains why I thought I was buying the new version when I got the original.

Yes, I have the original hardback so couldn't see much point in getting it in paperback.

£999.99 or best offer! So grateful I bought one of these slip cased editions re-sold at face value.

As far as the new edition of the papaerback, I touched one at the Electric Ballroom (signed), but someone was ahead of me at the counter and I mentioned to them that it was there!
