Phenomenal track though.
listening through to their excellent new album, the producer of that - Dan Carey - wouldn't be a bad shout looking at his previous credits as well

Please no Price, no Trevor, no Ford. Let’s get another direction, and I’d prefer a PSB co-production. I would only ask for a very electronic approach, maybe in a different way.

As much as I quite like the Price trilogy, I think it would be wrong to have him produce PSB again. He did what needed to be done when they left Parlophone, and maybe overstayed his welcome by the time Hotspot rolled around (although I think Hotspot is mostly a great album).

I don't think James Ford did them any favours - Drico already mentioned that he stripped the demos of their PSB character, and I tend to agree.

I'm deadly serious when I say that I think Ian Broudie of Lightning Seeds might inject something special without losing what makes PSB, PSB but if we're looking for someone new and present that might make people sit up and notice, what about Fred Again?

I don't know why they don't just go and produce a whole album for themselves and by themselves!

I wonder whether Neil Hannon would do it if asked. He's a busy man but this could sound terrific...

Too much work? But yes would be very happy if they chose to do so

Would love that! I also thought about Bob Stanley/Pete Wiggs now that Saint Etienne are splitting up.

They need to come out of retirement as a special one off for the next album.
They can go back into retirement afterwards.

Most of those have retired

Also thinking William Orbit to create something similar to Ray of Light. Marius de Vries or Nelle Hooper maybe.
Also been thinking they should work with Ladytron and Chvrches. I read that Neil once told a studio engineer to make a specific track "sound like Ladytron".
