Finally we will get the full-on Country & Western version of You only tell me you love me when you're drunk that we've been lusting for!
And "I paid my dues a long, long time ago" that Neil reported writing with her.
Please no Price, no Trevor, no Ford. Let’s get another direction, and I’d prefer a PSB co-production. I would only ask for a very electronic approach, maybe in a different way.
As much as I quite like the Price trilogy, I think it would be wrong to have him produce PSB again. He did what needed to be done when they left Parlophone, and maybe overstayed his welcome by the time Hotspot rolled around (although I think Hotspot is mostly a great album).
I don't think James Ford did them any favours - Drico already mentioned that he stripped the demos of their PSB character, and I tend to agree.
I'm deadly serious when I say that I think Ian Broudie of Lightning Seeds might inject something special without losing what makes PSB, PSB but if we're looking for someone new and present that might make people sit up and notice, what about Fred Again?

I've been thinking for a while that Neil and Chris should back to their roots and get Stephen Hague, Julian Mendelson, Trevor Horn, Harold Faltermeyer or even Bobby Orlando to produce their next album.
Also thinking William Orbit to create something similar to Ray of Light. Marius de Vries or Nelle Hooper maybe.
Also been thinking they should work with Ladytron and Chvrches. I read that Neil once told a studio engineer to make a specific track "sound like Ladytron".
