I couldn't say if they sold less than the 300 or manufactured a % more.

However this is exactly what happened with the Hacienda themed limited Eastwood Hooky Bass VI Pro's. There were 51 made (to honour the Hacienda's Factory number FAC51), but they built an extra 8 which they held for possible damages to the first 51 sold. Later (like years after) they sold these remaining ones "as is". I am proud owner of two of them now - one from the original run and the second I bought in that second drop.
That's very cool! So I am now the owner of two of these 7"s... one slightly creased, but both differently numbered (below 300!).

Anyone who feels the need to post their 7” number can do so in a thread on the collector discussion page.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

This might be a mistake but the Hymn 7” is showing up for sale on the official store. £40.

And they haven’t announced it on social media. Not at all, not in advance. This is another total disaster.

Maybe it was a store snafu and someone accidentally marked it for sale when it wasn't and now they've turned it off again?

There were reports of the webstore acting kinda funky yesterday. I myself had a Page Not Found at one point.

I still say they should release this 7" as a standard (unsigned) edition for the same charity. They'd make a boatload more money for it than the limited run ever did.

Meh. Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Indeed. But I rather enjoyed the image of Putin making us all rush to purchase more copies, only to say it's all been a bit of a c***-up but serves ya right for going with Ukraine. I may not be able to bring the West to its knees but at least I can piss off Pet Shop Boys and their fans.

Oh please continue to enjoy your reverie! My theory though is that whoever recently “reorganized” the official US store is now tinkering in the back end of the UK store and flipped some switches that they shouldn’t have.
