“Obskur Pet Shop Boys” in Berlin

Good work, I am not attending Dreamworld on the Saturday but am looking forward to both Obskur's if the setlist above is accurate I will be really happy.

Positive Role Model was played in London at Obscure, so not the first time since 2000. That was a definite highlight for me.

No PSB show comes close to Obscure in London, and I think the same will be true for Berlin. I cannot wait!

I just hope the nutty fans in the front do not wave their hands wildly continuously throughout the show. It's a lot of exaggerated, over-the-top fan behavior, because I think some like to imagine they are having a personal connection with Neil & Chris, with over-the-top fan behavior. They are trying to convey that this is the best thing they have ever seen. It just makes them seem mentally unwell and degrades the experience for others. It does not make them any more of a fan. Constant hand-waving and other theatrics from some fans for every song can be a bit much. Get into it, dance, wave your fans, but don't be a psycho. I am sure that can't be fun for them, as they look down and see over-the-top behavior, knowing they are obstructing the view of others behind them.

Another pet peeve (as this has devolved into a rant) was people holding up cameras high. Be considerate of others please. From what I could see, it was not even necessary for this person to hold the camera that high, but yet there was one guy who kept holding it as high as he could for ocassional videos.

While I did not experience this myself, there were some complaints of fans complaining and whining about others encroaching into "their space," when they were more or less just standing or dancing normally -- not doing anything that a normal person would perceive as intrusive. That's not how clubs work, and it is a bit entitled. Now, if someone decided to walk right in front of me and obstruct my view, I might do the same to them. Though, smaller people did do that to me, and I did not say anything, as they were pretty small. People might bump into you with dancing. Get over it. Dance and enjoy yourself (within reason) - and hopefully without selfishly trying to obstruct the view of others, because you want to dementedly put on a performance of what a dedicated, superfan one is (which again, was my primary pet peeve). I've had my moment on the front rail and I have to confess the thrill of being so close can take over everything. These days the front rail experience can be less pleasant with fans barging in and trying to take up space that isn't really there. At Lytham (not on the rail) I had a drunk man and woman dancing a bit too close to me and barging into me multiple times that it was unpleasant. I was relieved when they went off to buy yet more drinks and I was able to find a space a little further forward where they couldn't bother me. I'm finding if I can cope with the crowd that I like to be in a sweet spot for sound balance which is generally not right at the front in any case.

Agree, can we keep the audience hand gestures to a limit.
It's okay to do, and in a way enhances the experience. But just be aware the people behind can see, and it's probably better etiquette to keep it to a limit. I saw a lot of pointing, gestures practically whenever Neil sings.
It's been a while since I've seen the clips but yeah when the first rows do it the word obscure tends to become a reference to the line of sight.

This upcoming venue should be better. Unlike the previous it has a sloped floor. A slight incline towards the stage.
It's visible in photos, the people in the back stand taller.

Wow thats really cool that we get a slightly changed setlist here in Germany for the Obskur concerts. DJ Culture would be a good choice. Now my excitement grows from day to day.
