DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & now 2026

Before Dreamworld, the tours featured Love etc quite often. Perhaps they wanted to rest it for a bit.

Since I just saw them live, I wanted to share some thoughts on the *Dreamworld* tour and see what the rest of you think.
I find it—well, sad—that they’ve left four albums unrepresented. The fact that it’s a greatest hits tour isn't a valid excuse, seeing as they haven't really had a hit in ages.
The first seven albums are represented, but albums 8, 9, 10, and 11 aren't... yet 12, 13, 14, and 15 are. It doesn't make much sense to me. They could have easily included the lead singles from those four albums:
"Home and Dry"
"I'm with Stupid"
"Love etc."
"Winner"
That would give us 32 songs. Drop two, and you're left with 30—a nice round number—and it would only add maybe 10 minutes to the concert at most.
If I had to cut anything, I’d drop "Jealousy" and "Paninaro." I think *Behaviour* is well represented by "So Hard" and "Being Boring" (and even "Where the Streets Have No Name," which is from that same era). As for "Paninaro"—which is from *Disco 2*—I love it, but it feels like they’re somewhat slighting those four albums by leaving them out entirely.
In fact, the absence of "Love etc." is appalling. It’s their biggest hit of the 21st century.
Finally, I also don't get why "Dancing Star" is in the setlist instead of "Loneliness."
Anyway, just sharing some thoughts—that’s what this forum is for, right? What do the rest of you think?

I disagree with every point.
I think it's worth pointing out, those 2000s albums had dedicated tours.
They've had their time to shine.
The music from the imperial phase hasn't had the same treatment.
I think it's great to have this Dreamworld Greatest Hits tour with their best songs.

The trouble with Dancing Star, and Loneliness before it, is that all this euphoria's been building and then there's a noticeable drop in momentum. I thought Loneliness worked better live at ROH but they're both a bit of a downer. If they reworked the arrangements (e.g to Dancing Star's Solomun remixes or Loneliness's Floorplan remix), they would stand a better chance of keeping the crowd moving.

As magnificent as it is, Love etc and the others you mention have something of the same problem. I even find that Pop Kids stops and starts too much - Say It To Me from the same era would be much more lively. To be honest, I kind of miss Monkey Business!

Personally, I prefer "Say To Me" over "The Pop Kids," and I like "Memory of the Future" better than "Winner." Beyond my personal tastes, I singled those four out because they were lead singles. The bottom line is that I would have preferred it if all their studio albums were represented by at least one song.

I fully agree with you. None of them are bad songs but they all are songs I do not revisit much.

I love Loneliness but Dancing Star does seem to be a bit of a buzzkill. I'm convinced they did Love etc in Cork in the early days of the tour but been told I'm incorrect on that. I may have been a tad squiffy.

They did perform an edit of it back in the day on one of those crazy Italian tv shows, so technically it could have been included?

Looks like the Royal Opera House is fully booked up all next summer so no chance of one last triumphant return there by the looks of it.

When do we think the dreamworld tour will finally end ? Or will they tour this till the end ( not having a go at them ) I guess they have the set built and fine tuned and there must still be places they haven’t visited yet

I think that if it is going to be a recurring tour, they shoud notably update it (stage design, technology, costumes, set list etc) or change some ingredients (less band and maybe more backing singers?).
Altough as a long term fan, I would prefer a brand new studio album with a proper new tour (which of course would include some hits).

Without thinking about it I feel the tour would be put aside once the 2028 album launches and potentially launches with an accompanying tour. They could always revisit the Dreamworld set and concept, it's rather timeless in a way.
Obviously the whole album-tour, album-tour thing was disrupted with the Covid 19 pandemic. Quite literally postponing the tour. That virus and lockdown situation interfered heavily with Hotspot's post-launch promotion and we may recall the tourdates were announced before being pushed back. I wonder if Nonetheless would have been created in the same way if it weren't for Covid.
As Nonetheless was launching, the promo and height of Dreamworld was still underway. So there hasn't been a dedicated tour for either of the last two albums. We're currently in the timeline where Dreamworld has had it's Blu-ray launch, it's on streaming services. They've had literally more dates than any other previous PSB tour (not by a long margin mind you) and promotion for Nonetheless has wrapped up nicely with several single packages and a post-release deluxe edition.
So I feel the ground is fertile for a new album and accompanying tour. But it's PSB, anything is possible.

Basically I agree with Capsigrany above.
People won't get sick of Dreamworld. It will still sell. There isn't much need to finalise it unless something else is taking it's place.
And for the record, I'm personally not tired of Dreamworld. I am secretly hoping it will come to other countries such as USA and Australia, and South East Asia.

I'm thankful they've casually announced the next album, because it shows they aren't stagnant. It's possible touring will be put on hold while this new project gets focus. It's not impossible that we'll see a repeat of the last album, with the same Greatest Hits tour continuing with a couple of the new songs added.

By the way, on another note if they come to Australia I firmly believe they should adjust the setlist to include Absolutely Fabulous.
It charted at number 2 here. It's their biggest and most successful song in Australia. It's in public jukeboxes, it's played on Rage, everyone knows what it is. It is just a eurohouse dance track, but it's a banger. I heard it today and realised I still quite like it.
I personally believe it's inspired by the song Im Nin’alu by Ofra Haza which is a pretty powerful tune.
Contextually, Absolutely Fabulous is everything the Dreamworld tour is meant to be. It's the greatest hits, the well known songs. Including the most catchy, disposable, earworm-y tunes.
They haven't done a full-scale tour of Australia in 32 years and counting. If they come here it will be special and would warrant that one little addition to the setlist. I've been a fan since 2009 and they haven't came here to Melbourne since.
