Agree, and should have been one of the strongest tracks on Elysium. Not sure why it never made the cut. I like quite a few of the FL tracks. So Sorry I Said is a great song.

A PSB song that exists solely for the purpose of self-referential irony. Someone who isn't the Pet Shop Boys writes a song about being the Pet Shop Boys then the actual Pet Shop Boys cover it. It's then covered by someone else who isn't the Pet Shop Boys. We get the joke.

These are kind of random tidbits I love about conversation here. I'd never have noticed or thought to check if they were different otherwise. On quick inspection it seems the original is an "early fade", whereas FL & Format seem to have gone for the fuller version from which the original b-side version was cut.

I noticed a similar quirk recently with The Boy Who Couldn't Keep His Clothes on. The original b-side version (aka "Main Vocal") is 20 seconds shorter than the "International Club Mix" which appears on Bilingual Remixed and has a different intro... and curiously, from that point in time on, both FL & Format appear to be using the International Club variant despite the absence of any specific mix labeling.

Anyhow.

A revamped and distinct electronic version of the 1987 classic.
They performed it for the first time at the Barfly club in London in 2004, during a benefit concert for the organization War Child.
What do you think about, this new version?

Its like the wrote a nice piece of electro influenced music and then thought what would happen if we sing Its a Sin over the top of it. Not sure it totally works. Would have really enjoyed it as an instrumental or with a different vocal
