Ronald was a good actor, and as a Leader of a country he has respect from many statesmen. It seems to be a memorable date to have passed away. Th eve of 60 years to the date that allied forces landed in France. D-day!

May his god take good care of him!

Disregard the acting, and his place in the Whitehouse --- he was someones husband, some ones father and someones grandad. He was a fellow human, and therfore deserves some kind of respect in his passing over!

I grew up with him as president, and I have to say he was better than his predecessors....plus to me he was as much an icon of the 80's era as the PSB.

I notice people from america and europe everynow and then talking bad about their own politicians, ie this person is a crook, greedy or a bad leader etc etc,at some point you have to stop talking about these american and european leaders as though they were some abberation dropped down from outerspace and realize these leaders come from the general public.
YOU are the politicians. they come from you.if a leader is corrupt, stop looking for excuses.this is the best YOU can do.

I stopped playing the blame game. it takes a certain personality to become a politician. just like it takes a certain kind to be a nurse, or policeman. a nurse say, is generally a caring person who wants to help others, a policeman is generally some macho testosterone tough guy,
and a politician generally likes power and money.

this is the best YOU can do. as essenicailly you are what keeps getting elected.the public votes these guys in and they are from the public.so there is no difference bewteen an american greedy politician and a european one. they are cut from the same cloth.its the nature of the beast.
