Yeah, Duran Duran used something similar. They had a double CD collection of album tracks and b'sides called 'Besides Ourselves'. It wasn't an official UK release, but it's available through other channels.

Wasn't there a Talk Talk b-side album called 'Besides'? Or 'Besides and .... ' (something else which I can't remember and am too lazy to look)
