Actually second from the right is my late aunt Kimberley Leston.Posh Boy wrote:Is that Pepsie and Shirley on the right?
She worked with Neil at Smash Hits and unfortunately committed suicide a few years ago. Neil mentions her in The Survivors as she was in band called The Saturday Girls and her sad and untimely death was the inspiration for the song.
First time I met Neil was at Kimberley's wedding and the second at her funeral - Neil and I had a good old chat about her at The Astoria after-show party. He even gave me a little hug when I mentioned her which my mate who was with me thought was hysterical!
Not seen that photo before so thanks for posting.

I remember an interview where that was mentioned. Sorry to hear that. The Survivors is a very moving and beautiful song.gareth wrote:Actually second from the right is my late aunt Kimberley Leston.Posh Boy wrote:Is that Pepsie and Shirley on the right?

Had some great chats about Neil with her - they had such a great time at SH and were very close.
