once I figured out a way to track it, not long.
If you place your mouse-pointer over the quote-button of a post, you'll see a number at the end, that's the post-number. So I just copied a random quote-link and altered the number.

Each post has an individual number. I figure more than 50,000 must have been deleted because the first post in this thread was 296972.

there must be deleted more, cause we lost much during the crash in 2005. I'm not sure, but maybe the post count of 200.000 is incorrect (during this crash). In total we now should have more than 200.000 posts.
