If you are into it, you could go get one of those old bow wow's that are dead rich and pay for everything.

Awwww, and they say that romance is dead!

I know people are gonna say "Aww you're still young." but i feel kinda sick, that i've lived a third of my life, and i havent found anyone to share the rest with. I even chose my current job (which in no way is related to my 4 years of undergraduate degree), in the hope that i might find someone special.
Well Vince, have you tried online dating? That's how I found my husband - well, sort of. I met him on ICQ back in 2001. We chatted on and off for a few years, met in person, and the rest was history.

I know what you mean, though. I felt the same way around that age. Are many of your friends/family already in serious relationships or married? Mine were, and I felt like the clock was ticking for me, too. Looking back, though, I'm glad I didn't settle down at that age.

Good luck. You'll find someone. And if that person isn't already a Pethead, you can (try to) convert 'em. ;)
And everything about tonight feels right and so young
And anything I'd want to say out loud will be sung
It's in the music...

Well, there you go! You got it as simple as it can get. If you're having trouble expanding your social female network, get out more! get to meet new people, -yes, even guys, they got sis, remember? And go clubbing? Nothing wrong w/that.

I'm single and I'm not interested in a boyfriend at all. I've had boyfriends, but there was always something uncomfortable with them. I don't feel comfortable around men in general, except for one very good friend of mine. I've discovered the importance of friendship and it's much more important to me than romantic love. I have two very good friends and I trust them with literally everything and they feel the same with me. There's a third person I love too, but he's going through a hard time at the moment so we don't talk often. And they all love each other too, so I'm satisfied now. ;)

@Galata: LoL :lol:

@Territorygal : You're lucky!!! :) Well, i did meet someone online, but its long-distance, so we cant make it work :(
And yes, I'm the next in line (in my extended family) to get hitched :| gulp :|

@beautyqueen: yeah i get yoyur point ;) trying it out actually.. without much success so far..

@Postscript: I do not know how old you are, but at a certain point in your life (which has come early for me :| ), you feel like, friendship is alright, but i do want to take it to the next level. For how long can i sit and talk to friends?

and all this is from a "romantic" point of view. If one has to take into account societal considerations, it becomes next to impossible..

I'd give you the same advice as my brother, enjoy/have fun! date all you want, but don't get stuck in a relationship right away (has to be like my dad, got married at 42 with a 19 yr old, and here we are). One thing is for sure, some shy guys don't realize all their potential, while those who need that extra kick to have the guts to talk to a girl end up having all the fun.

Don't feel frustrated or self conscious, picture what you want, then go for it. If feeling rejected, learn to get over it asap, things happen for a reason, someone better...never settle for average.
After a finished seven year relationship, I'm pretty sure I'll end up doing as your dad.

It is far easier and cheaper to live with your parents ('independence' is an overvalued word these days).

Also, talking about 'love' (yes...love...not sex) would be a very very long conversation as it seems there are more important values for many people in the world (money, power, etc). Sad but true.
Do I have to?

I'm sorry, but she is not remotely attractive in any way. Give her a decent meal and get some shape back on her.
