1. Fugitive (seven-inch mix)
2. Glad all over
3. I cried for us
4. A certain “Je ne sais quoi”
5. The way through the woods (long version)
6. I started a joke
7. Hell
8. In his imagination
9. Baby (demo)
10. Listening
11. One night
12. Inside
13. Entschuldigung!
14. Get it online
15. No more ballads
16. Odd man out
17. In bits
18. One-hit wonder

3. A cloud in a box
4. The dead can dance
5. An open mind
6. No boundaries
7. Decide
8. At rock bottom

12. Sense of time
13. If Jesus had a sister
14. It’s not a crime
15. I’ve got plans (involving you)
16. Everybody will dance
17. Beauty has laid siege to the city
18. Clean Air Hybrid Electric Bus
CD1 would be patchy at times but CD2 is pretty solid and would make a decent follow up to Alternative.
One would hope they also take the opportunity to release "Format" on vinyl in tandem with a third b-sides compilation, though "Format" was so dense with material it would likely need to be four LPs rather than the three it took to comprise "Alternative."
An Alternative reissue would make good sense too.

I'd be thrilled to have a double CD with these tracks. And if they release a triple album including the songs from the EPs, I'd be even happier.

Thanks Dog!

There's something nifty about the two CDs ending with One-hit Wonder and Clean Air Hybrid Electric Bus

But the drop off from Fugitive to Glad all over ... disturbs me 😂 Maybe they could omit those two covers

Yet again one of my poor little threads are hi-jacked. I wanted to have a list of what's going to be released this year, not another wish-list. You guys are incurable ;)

 I still prefer the mastering on Alternative versus the same tracks on either era of Further Listening reissues.

No idea, although the way she was talking about it, I would guess duet. But that's indeed just a guess.
A duet according to this:

When the Suburbia Arthur Baker remixes got a digital release some years ago, I had expected a Please super deluxe kind of box to follow. But crickets. The "Since 1984" campaign, "with more products to follow" has been a tea-set and a t-shirt so far. If an expanded Please doesn't materialise this year, then when? I'd be far more interested in that than in another b-sides compilation or reissues of books. So many remixes of that era haven't made their way to a digital format yet and then there are all those early demos… sure, those are not "release quality" but neither is the songwriting of "wedding in Berlin" and that one escaped...

Thanks for the information. I'd never heard that Sophie Ellis-Bextor had been sent a song for her second album. Does anyone know if this is true and what happened to that song?

Agreed, this is what I want most of all. Ray deserves to have the recordings from his studio spruced-up and released !

I’m sure I read at the time that it was In The Club Or In The Queue.

If the story is true, and being a fan of theirs, I imagine it must have hurt her to see that one of them initially didn't want to collaborate with her. Although she did later open for them at some concerts. I really like their music, and I think she's a very nice girl, so in this case, I don't understand Chris.
