I supposed when I asked her about Paninaro, I said it like Pene-naro instead of Pan-inaro, she did misunderstood me. She is Italian and speaks little english.

Surely your impeccable knowledge and use of the English language more than makes up for her lack of it.

Here in Switzerland there has been a Paninaro revival of sorts. Every Friday and Saturday night you can see the 16-20 year old Paninari hanging out in front of the McDonald's and other fast food joints near the train station in Luzern, much like the originals outside the "Burgy" (now McDonalds) outside the Duomo in Milan. The fashion is identical! Loads of Polo Shirts with the collars up, sunglasses (at night), spikey hair, and even white jeans tucked into their socks! (BTW - this is intentional style, not a clueless fashion crime... I think...) I was in Milan a few weeks ago and saw a similar revival, but I guess it's more noticable here in Luzern b/c of the small size of the city.
Anyway, I've been considering shooting some footage of these kids and making an updated video for Paninaro. Just waiting fro the boys to release Paninaro 05.

Paninaro was a trendy cult of kids in Italy whom PSB stumbled upon early in their career. As described in the Alternative booklet by Chris: "It was a very distinctive style of dress: incredibly baggy jeans...which would stop at calf level and then they would wear Timberland boots. Then they would wear a fantastic pair of sunglasses, and almost a feather cut, long at the back, and some fantastic coat." As it turns out, the Paninaro tracks were untitled and missing a chorus until an article in ID magazine about the cult mentioned a song about Paninari PSB had supposedly written. It seems they mentioned something about Paninari to a journalist friend, Peter Martin, who in turn wrote the article in question. The Boys then followed through with their idea by adding the Paninaro chorus.
