Fake bids on e-bay for example, surely is bordering on fraud and theft. You are getting more money out of people by conning them.

I think the big episode Joemoz might be referring too could be that episode with buying so many copies of a limited edition of something, then selling them for bumped up prices and in the meantime denying people the item at the original price.

I always have been wary of ebay ever since that 20/20 expose on TV where someone ordered a computer from someone on ebay and the box arrived and instead of a computer it was filled with USED toilet paper. yes. actually used toilet paper. I couldnt make this up.

Indeed, If the buyer doesnt want to pay that bit extra for insured postage, then the buyer obviously doesnt want the item that much.

It pays to insure.
