Being a portion or an unspecified number or quantity of a whole or group"

or

Being or representing the entire or total number, amount, or quantity

is there.

so instead of pulling out ya thesauraus or dictionary and having a go at me for no reason please take that into consideration.

so i will reapeat AGAIN.

still no point made from pratrick is there???
1. I didnt insult. Whereas called Patrick Pratrick is.
2. Once again you failed to read the entire post. I even put at the end of my post where I got the definitions from - It was an online dictionary, there was no thesauraus in sight.
3. Patrick's initial post states "Some". Your post states "All". There is a difference which Im just trying to point out.
4. I dont think that is having a go at you.

He does seem to suffer in the reading comprehension department.

Funnily enough, he gets it right in his sig. Yet still seems worked up about it! ;)

A sincere apology would be fine.

My critique is a fair assessment of your behavior on this thread. You've completely missed the point of at least two posts and appear not to have fully comprehended several others.

Well put.... they seem to or at one time profiled folks with long hair, piercings, missing fingers, no teeth and various other visual oddities for no good reason other than blatant stereotyping.

However, I haven't flown abroad in a few years so I can't speak for air travel overseas.

Neil and Chris should be there now performing an inpromptu concert to the waiting travellers
Having to wait three hours to get through security and being prevented from swigging a Coke onboard - unless you buy it from the airline - does seem to be a rather needless price to pay for Tony Blair and George Bush's bombing campaign in Afghanistan, invasion of Iraq, and craven one-eyed support for Israel at the expense of the Arab world.

Britons - a stoic lot, as they like to consider themselves - will no doubt happily accept this restriction without wondering just why it is them and not, say, Frenchmen, Germans, or Bulgarians enduring the police state treatment as they jet off to Torremolinos for a beery week laughing at funny foreigners' names.

And what's to stop someone sticking some semtex up his arse if he really wants to? By this logic we'll all need to be strip searched getting on planes next.

Quite frankly, it's all window dressing. The police have to be seen to be doing something - even if what they are doing is largely pointless and cosmetic. Daily Mail readers love it.

The ID-card thing in the UK may be ridiculous, but Pet Shop Boys went on to promote their album in interviews, saying the world is governed by fear, etc...
And it is. You should watch the documentary The Power of Nightmares. One more time, ID cards WILL NOT STOP TERRORISM OR TERRORIST ACTS. And, terrorism certainly isn't a 'treat' to western societies. But at least you agree that ID cards are ridiculous.

For f*** sake discostew, have you heard yourself? You're not on Pimp My Ride now. What's with the 'ya' business? You aren't Tim Westwood or Ali G by any chance are you?
