Worth watching simply for the Southend legend that is Zoltan Liptak. He had a good game as well.

I was at the game tonight, had I not taken my son and daughter to their first match, I would have left at half time.

Crowd booed Terry and Cole at every opportunity and England looked a different team once they went off with Lampard and later Rooney.

Gibbs and Ashley Young looked good down the left but it means nothing if they dont play the next game.

As for Glen Johnson, I wouldnt even have him cleaning my boots!!

Kids loved it though!!

Lastly, England have NO CHANCE in getting the WC in 2018 if the exit from Wembley Stadium to Wembley Park tube is anything to go by. Wembley holds 90000 and yet it was only 80% full tonight but it took over an hour to leave my seat at the stadium to sit down on the tube.

Sometimes it can be a real problem getting out at any ground, even with small crowds. Spurs are one of the worst. I thought Wembley wasn't too bad at all when i saw the Croatia game. Although we went by car. We were on the motorway in under an hour. Although charging £20 quid to park is disgusting.

England should play all those players that played in the second half. Maybe bring a few more faces in. I also thought Glen Johnson was another player that improved when the tits went off.

The players that finished that game probably wont be good enough to qualify but i'd sooner see them have a go and play with pride, rather than see the same old guff under-perform and think they are gods.

There's always an arguement on the High Road between the two Spurs fans, thats why there's the delay!!

Worst 45 minutes i've ever seen. It should be dead and buried but they just got a lifeline. Terrible. They have totally froze and bottled it.

I wonder who they'll sell... Surely they can't keep all those international attacking midfielders happy whatever they're paying them.

They'll probably just loan them all to Cardiff.

We'll take one or two of them at Leeds. The kit is all white so I'm sure they won't notice the difference!

It was something of a baptism of fire, wasn't it? But places like that can be surprisingly tough to go to and get a result. I mean, Liverpool have had more trouble with Greek and Portuguese opposition in recent European seasons than we have had with Italians, Spanish and Germans. Those two goals should see Spurs safely through though.

You know, I didn't think it was possible for a football club to behave with less class and dignity than Chelsea, but Man City's conduct in this transfer window has blown them out of the water. The treatment of committed professionals like Craig bellamy, Stephen Ireland and now (it appears) Shay Given has been nothing short of disgusting.

Spurs were dreadful but no way should any side, especially in a top competition, be allowed to play on a pitch like that.

Man City make you laugh. They wont sell or loan players to any rivals, yet if they are deeming them not good enough, what's the problem? I honestly can't see them doing anything. The manager is irritating as f*** with that annoying, droaning voice and they are just spending money on players that aren't really world class.
