We should be glad they put some effort in the artwork again (Scott King, anyone?). VERY was months in artwork limbo before release, and the result could be viewed at the British Museum of Modern Art. Patience...

But in this day and age it is different because they run a great risk of leaking the album long before release. Also, they should have started the process of doing the artwork earlier. This album has been planned for several years now - surely it doesn't take that long to come up with a sleeve. If that creative process really takes so long, they should work with someone more efficient or realize that it's a better idea to spend more time on the music on the album - which ultimately is what they'll be judged on.

I doubt this Johan! From what I know, EMI only produce 'Watermark copies' of the current albums from their major acts. The production is very expensive of each CD-R so they produce around 50 of them/per artist only. The production of those Watermarks of 'Fundamental' is planed for end-February (only a guess) and only a few Journalists will get a copy.
This means - we maybe won't see any 'Promo-CD' of a future PSB album anymore. These times are gone. EMI said, they start to put effort into 'Promo-CDs' of the singles releases only!

So all what we need is a 'un-reliable' Journalist. But would you give an Watermark copy outta hands, if you are one of the selected??

Watermark copies have an special waveform included in their content, which is different on each disc, so you can indentify each disc separate. Question is now for me: Can you cut out such a waveform by coverting from wave to 320mp3 and again from 320mp3 to 192mp3...?

Exactly. As huge fans who buy everything they ever release and then some, they shouldn't taunt us like this.

The artistic design for this better be something real spectacular :grumble:

Be thankful we are not all die hard Pink floyd fans.
The release of their Pulse DVD has been repeatedly delayed for 5 years.

Someone has given a wrong information. I can't believe the first single Minimal to be released in April and Numb to be released in May.

I wasn't suprised that Minimal had been confirmed by the site. I was suprised that Parlophone are telling us (the media, for thats what I do!) the date for the first single was different from the official site (which on release date info has been updated for many weeks!) Maybe the offical site knows something that Parlophone doesnt!

Anyway, for April, Minimal is not on the release schedule. For 8th May, there are two singles currently scheduled: PET SHOP BOYS "NUMB" / "I'M WITH STUPID" and MICHAEL JACKSON "IN THE CLOSET"

Im only sharing the information we are given!

I still think that numb/I'm with stupid isnt a double single. its just that they havent decided what the actual 2nd single will be yet out of the 2 so they are saying either or, not that its both.

Another theory! Maybe they have decided to release a double album, rather than just a 12 track cd.
