I doubt it, Neil said a few times how he hates long albums with many songs and how stupid it seems to him to make a studio album a double.

In fact, how do Double A sides count towards the Top 40 when they are downloaded?
If I were to D/L Numb and Im With Stupid as 2 seperate tracks, does that count as double?
If I were to only D/L one of them, does that count as half?
Fundamental postphoned in May !!

1. Single mix
2. B-side
3. (Maximal delay mix) *
* You have to wait 20 minutes into the track of hearing nothing before you get to the mix. And yes this CD leaks.
So was Postscript...

Neil hates the longer albums because he is lazy. He didn´t want to play in live in 80´s because he hates sing on a stage. He is very lazy and I am tired of waiting without songs and so delayed

far fetched but my God if only! I know its been said to death but it doesnt escape my notice the few reviewers that have heard it only talk about the same tracks. i wouldnt doubt that its possible they are considering taking some tracks off and replacing with others, but I will say its a tad late in the game and close to the release to write a better song which generally ends up dissapointing, I'm thinking of HIAO.

It's a fact this one is going to be one of their best album in ages. So, maybe they want to take care of any detail.
Tour dates could be another reason for a delay.

I don't think there will be a delay. There should have been a courtesy news update in the official website if there was change of plans. But for the time being, I only know the official release date is in April (for here). Plus is the information is reliable?

Well my local HMV as a sign in the PSB section saying that Fundamental will be released on the 6th of march.
They obviously haven't told of the delay.

There is a little bit about Numb on Popjustice. Hmmm.
You numb it and I'll sing along
February 08 2006
The first song has leaked from the new Pet Shop Boys album. Sort of.
It's actually Dianne Warren's original demo of 'Numb', which the band originally recorded for 'Pop Art' a couple of years ago.
What with it being an unofficial leak we have of course not downloaded it but We Would Imagine it sounds a little like a lady belting out an Aerosmith ballad and therefore not an awful lot like the Pet Shop Boys version which, We Would Also Imagine, has full 'n' thunderous orchestral bits absent in the demo.
It is a very wonderful song
