If Neil's said that it'll be their shortest title yet, I'd say it's pretty much a given that it'll be 'No'. Until they change their minds, of course. They've always reacted to their previous album. Given Yes was all-out pop, but still stalled commercially and didn't get airplay... And Together just compounded the issue, I'd say we're looking at something dark; anti-pop.

In a similar vein, I was thinking 'Difficult' would be a good title... "our difficult 11th album"... They've also always said that it's difficult taking the route the Pet Shop Boys take.

If it isn't 'No', then it'll be '11' or 'XI' and will be either:

(a) A series of football stadium anthems produced by Tim Powell, with 'Glad All Over' as the lead single... in which case I will throw myself off a bridge

or

(b) A set of ten songs, one in the style of each of their ten studio albums, in chronological sequence - some will be existing tracks from the recording sessions of the album, some will be deliberately newly written in the style of that particular album. Oh, and then some epic 11th meta-track to make 'XI' an album of 11 songs....

I'd be very disappointed if they titled their album XI. Too much of a copy of Kylie Minogue's X.

Yeah, then they can call the bonus album "No," as has already been suggested so it can be "Oh No"!

I might have said this before but I reckon I know what the title will be of the boys next album, bearing in mind it's supposed to an even shorter word than '' YES '' then for me it has to be '' BY '', it's so typically Pet Shop Boys, it's a word with 3 different meanings one of which I hope and don't think to be true ??? It's obviously a similar word play thing to to '' PLEASE '' and "RELEASE ''. I can't think of another short word title better than this one ??

Aren't you confusing 'Bi' 'By' and 'Bye'?

now you've got me cos I forgot about '' Bi '', so then there are 4 meanings as in :
'' By '', '' Bi '' , '' Bye '' and most iroinic '' Buy ''
