So going by that statement, Fabregas, Van Persie, Nasri and Gerrard are only of a similar standard. Afterall, their relevant clubs didn't do that well this season.JSDOUVRES wrote: Strange that he didn't make much of a difference for Spurs this season? Don't really get that? No, of course not, Modric is better than all of them and would have made a difference against Barca like you said. Also none of them players would do as well at United as he would. There, I am agreeing with you. Happy now? Jesus wept. And I forgot that you don't like judging players by what they've achieved. Like most Spurs fans of course. I wonder why?Undertaker wrote:So going by that statement, Fabregas, Van Persie, Nasri and Gerrard are only of a similar standard. Oh and Undertaker, ever posted without using a smiley? Aren't you one of the one's constantly having a go at me for using exclamation mark's and question mark's all the time? And yet you constantly use smileys. Once again you have been exposed as being totally two faced. Like always.

Predictable? I thought that was a rather clever little play on words. Thanks....

Mr Brown nose? I'm sorry you'll need to explain that one to me. Mr Angry is obvious.
What was actually predictable was you coming up with a Mr anything.

Yeah because you are totally unpredictable of course. And you don't get the Mr Brown nose thing? Think about it. It's obvious. But you know that. Anyway, how's the Scottish football going, still got your German Northern Irish hooligan problem?!skyhigh wrote:Mr Brown nose? I'm sorry you'll need to explain that one to me. Mr Angry is obvious.

Polite request: Could we get back to talking about football at some point in the not-too-distant future? Thanks so much.

Spurs have signed Brad Friedal. He's getting on a bit, isn't he?
The problem is, Spurs aren't going to get Reina or Cech and City probably won't sell Given to us, so who's left that's any good? I don't know of a lot of good keepers playing abroad either. All in all, Friedal is actually an improvement on what we have
Hopefully, it works out.

If I was Given I'd be furious. One of the best keepers in the world, stuck on the bench, and not allowed to move to anybody decent.

Re: Football Season 2010/11 thread
Oh yes, that would be fantastic.
Abramovich is such a t***; does he really think sacking the likes of Mourinho and Ancelotti then appointing a manager who's good at finishing in eighth place will win him the Champions League?
