PSB in costume for Fundamental era?

#1 Post by petshopgirlxxx »

Haha, well, we can dream, can't we? The pointed hats, the baker hats during the time of Very...the kilotts and wigs for Nightlife...wouldn't it be great? Somehow I doubt they'll do the whole "costume" thing again though. What do you think?

Oh man, I hope they do costumes again! I loved the look of Very so much - such eye candy, so artistic and stylized! And the Nightlife look was cool too. Release was not only quite disappointing as a PSB album, but it lacked style. I still don't know what they were thinking with that 'Home and Dry' video... thank god the 'Flamboyant' video which followed was one of the best they've ever done. I was worried for a while there!

So yes... I really hope they go all out in the clothing department for the new album - I think they're about due for it again!

But you must say a Flamboyant New make over  .
They make a little go along way.. very Minimal but Fundamental.

I think they looked quite ridiculous in those long hats etc... But again, it's their music and not their looks I love them.

I hope not. Costumes were a good idea originally, but IMHO the joke had worn thin by the end of Very. The Nightlife era costumes were a really bad idea and shouldn't have happened.

I disagree; they were perfectly cast for the post-Radio 1 epoch as the Samurai in Autumn.

I'd be extremely surprised if they dressed up this time.

Oh good god, I hope they ditch the costumes. Suit et al au naturel please!
