I have this 12" remix on vinyl and occasionally go to the bother of dusting the old record player to play it but I would really like to listen to it without the snap crackle and pop that accompanies it. Is it available to buy on cd on any compilation that I've missed in my visits to HMV ? Anyone any pointers (I don't trust EBAY unfortunately) ?

It was released in Europe on CD single format, although it does fetch a (relatively) large anount of money.

eBay probably your best bet, unless you can find it elsewhere online.

Most importent thing IMHO ofcourse "Does it play?" if it does that's enough. At least for me I don't have a box full of unplayed CDs here only to discover that in 10 or 15 years from now it's worth ZIP. Better to buy gold at least that will keep it's value.

BTW got my CD for €12,-- once upon a long ago it plays perfect and because I do from time to time it has a lot of scratches but at least I enjoyed it.

Oh, I forgot to mention Esprit want £45 for theirs despite them claiming it will be in excellent condition, if it was scratched to hell they'd still sell for same price

The funny thing with the esprit prices is that even when you halve them they are still a rip off. It does not take much searching around to find things cheaper, and I will never buy from them again that's for sure. And the prices they offer to buy stuff from you is more than laughable aswell.
As for scratches or marks on cd's, well as long as they play fine does it really matter? Most cd's get marks of some kind and I find it mad to expect to find discs like new with no marks as most people listen to their cd's, don't they? I mean they mark so easily anyway.

If you play your CD's and vinyl like I do with extreme care then you wouldn't have to bother about having to clean or even worry about scratches. Just avoid touching the flat sides of the CD and with vinyl, when taking out of the sleeve make sure there are gaps so that the vinyl can roll out instead of slide out as the dust and dirt on the edges will catch onto the vinyl. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, didn't anyone tell you?

The only time I'll ever buy from Esprit is if they get the red 7" Can you forgive her? or 12" Go West 1992 Sasha Extended Mix acetate, and maybe a couple of other items from my wants list which can be found on my eBay aboutme page.
