When did you become a pethead?
Looking at the board I see a lot of young new fans who have just become or not long discovered the boys... Aww bless, so I`d like to know when you all became addicted to PSB. Myself since the age of 12, am now 32 :-/. So only 20 years lol.. It was the very first time they played West End Girls vid on Top Of The Pops. As soon as it came on I just got up and started dancing. Didn`t even watch the vid lol, I was just hooked on the song.

I think it was 1989, when I was 8. My cousin got me hooked, as whenever I visited my relatives, he would often play Actually on tape.
17 years for me then.

Re: When did you become a pethead?
For me it was when I heard Please being played on tape at a friends house, soon after it had been released. His older brother had bought it. My mates were all playing pool or whatever, and I just sat and listened to the whole album, I was hooked!

I liked 'Se a vida e' in 1996, but my music teacher at school (and cornet tutor today) was a big fan. He got me tickets to see them at Keele University in 2002. After that concert, I bought the Please and Very Further Listening CDs from HMV and the rest is history. So I was 15 when I got hooked.

I've liked their main hits (West End girls, So Hard) since I was in 9th grade, so that was about, hmm, 6 years ago. I became the hardcore fan I am today at around the time Disco 3 came out. One day I was bored and just started downloading all of their songs, now I'm a fiend and own 90 percent of their albums (I'm missing Relentless as well as about half of the CD singles).

don't attack me when I tell you this
I haven't even heard of them until I heard Flamboyant...
I'm a big fan of house, techno and trance music since 2000 and I liked Tomcraft a lot.
And I heard ''Flamboyant'', then ''Miracles'', got more interested, got myself ''PopArt'' and then i became a real fan.
so, it's been 2 years now and I manged to catch up with everything they've done so I'm surely not a newbie in their music

It was 1986 when we first get cable tv and i saw suburbia ( i don`t know why this was the only video and song of course which got the most attention to me out of all others videos played on mtv). I can remember singing the song in silence on the way to school. The i saw west end girls and i notieced that it is also from PSB.After that i saw love comes Quickly and i tried to like these songs (these both songs didn`t attract me like suburbia but they were from the same band).
Then i had a friend who played always cassettes which had extended version of songs (it was 1987 the glory time of extended version). So i borrowed me the disco LP and taped it.The first i bought was Always on my mind remix 12" becuse i liked the melody very much. Then i bought Actually and after a while please. So i get hooked in 1987 ( i was 13). that`s 19 years.
I want to know if someone became a fan most recently perhaps through PopArt with flamboyant or miracles?
What interests me the most if someone will get a fan through I`m with stupid. Will it be a person who is also 13 like i was back in time because the song and the music sounds young. Or do you think that the people who getting fans nowadays are older than way back in time???

I'm a hard techno and dance music fan as well and I just love how they also keep to that scene in their remixesdannii wrote:don't attack me when I tell you this

But i find this interesting because i can`t imagine that there will be new fans through their most recent music.dannii wrote:lol; i just wrote that I did above your postb@man wrote:I want to know if someone became a fan most recently perhaps through PopArt with flamboyant or miracles
