Get the number one (with no records for sale)

#1 Post by Nickname »

The importance of the downloads on the uk ¿singles? official chart is really big. Gnarls Barkley with "Crazy" is the new Number one but the single wil be launched this Monday.

Now, everybody can understand why PSB have changed their plans about singles.

Well, there are 864 registered users on this board + a handful of dissidents over at the other place..

If we all paid for, say, 50 downloads each, that would give us c,43,000 :D

PSB aren't the sort of band that will really benefit from the new rules as it's the kids who make the difference with this.

How so? :? Surely kids can't buy things online as they don't have credit cards!

LOL!

Brown wear's his "I'm With Stupid" t-shirt with ubiquitous arrow in the House of Commons under his shirt. I know this is fact!

The trouble with downloading is that with the amount of so-called-fans purchasing the download, they will not likely be purchasing the CD, DVD or vinyl upon release. Which, is sad.

Unless, of course, the downloads are restricted to the basic version of I'm with stupid and exclusive remixes that will not be available on any other format...

I hope exclusive mixes and versions will be promo-only to piss downloaders off. At least with copyright protection, mp3s can be traced to whoever the disc was given to :D

Why do you think I don't record mp3's anymore from exclusive merchandise that I get..?
